I’m in love with the Mickey Mouse Christmas wreath I made this weekend and couldn’t wait to share with you how to make your very own.

I frequently check out Pinterest for inspiration; I found this Mickey wreath and fell in love. It only took about 1 hour to make, so this is super easy and quick to put together.

What you’ll need

  • Garland
  • Lights
  • Wreath (2 small and 1 large)
  • Ornaments
  • Hot glue gun
  • Adjustable ties

Putting together your masterpiece

Put your 2 small wreaths on top of your large one. Use your adjustable ties to hold the small wreaths in place.

Now you will start wrapping your garland around the wreath. I started midway down the head so I would have a smaller amount to pull through the ears. If you use the pre-light garland you will want to start where ever you want your plugin to be.

You can skip the step if your garland is pre-light.

Now add your lights, remember to make sure that your plugin is in a convenient place to access to plug in lights. I decided on red lights but I think it would look great with any color.

Now hot glue your ornaments or whatever you have decided to add as an embellishment. I did not add a bow but I think it would look amazing with a bright red bow.

I added an adjustable tie at the top to hook it outside.

How much garland did you use?

    1. I used 2 strands. My wreath was very large though we have it all house outside because it’s too large for the door. If you make it smaller for a door I would bet you could get away with one strand.
